What is the Traditional Crafts Fair?woodworker

Saturday, October 13 you can step back in time at the second annual Traditional Crafts Fair in Easton. This event will bring together artisans who still make things the old-fashioned way. Hand-made arts and crafts will be on display and available for sale. Demonstrations of these traditional techniques will be given by many of the craftspeople.

10 am to 3 pm
Historical Society of Talbot County's Garden at 25 S. Washington Street, Easton
(In case of rain the event will be held inside the Auditorium at 17 S. Washington)

What will we do there?

Stroll through the garden, browse through the crafts booths, enjoy fresh food, play old-time games, tour through the historic homes.

Music will fill the air. In the morning the St. Michaels Fife and Drum Corp will open the show.

Living History entertainment will be provided by the Cecil County Heritage Troupe. Their costumed characters will be roaming the streets and performing a series of short skits during the day. Learn about our area during the colonial womanRevolutionary War and the War of 1812 and be entertained at the same time.

Information for Vendors

This will be a juried show, with preference given to artisans producing historic crafts using traditional methods. Costumes are encouraged. The event has no particular time period, so any type of "old fashioned" clothing is acceptable.

Since this is the second year, we are keeping booth and table fees very reasonable. 80% of your fees will be spent on advertising. Our goal is to bring in as many customers as possible. Admission to the public will be free.
