A Colonial Revival Estate on the mouth of Trippe Creek
Easton, Maryland

Ships Point is one of the premier waterfront properties in Talbot County, a county renowned for its plentiful shoreline. Situated at the mouth of Trippe Creek, it was named in honor of the shipyard where 17th-century shipbuilder Thomas Skillington built sailing vessels. The estate, home to various unique species of shrubs and trees, includes 13 acres, about 2,300 of water frontage, 4 deep water slips, a custom pool and spa, and brick and stone patios and walks, all overlooking the Tred Avon River and Trippe Creek.
The house, built in the 1920s, features 3 fireplaces, 6 bedrooms, 6.5 baths, formal living and dining rooms, sitting room, family room, large kitchen with large prep/pantry area, and maids' quarters. Also on the estate are a 6,000 square foot gue
front lawnst house with its own patio and deck and a separate multi-car garage. It has been many years since this gem of a property has been open to the public. And it will probably be many years before it happens again.
