A specialty
consignment shop featuring quality antiques and locally made decorative
arts, Tharpe Antiques provides
sustainable and steady support to the
operations of the Historical Society of Talbot County. It is located in
the historic Miss Mary Jenkins House (c. 1790), located directly across
the street from the museum in downtown Easton. Consignments are accepted
on Tuesdays from 10:00am to 4:00pm and on Saturdays by appointment.
Contributions of items for sale in the shop are fully tax-deductible.
Proceeds from Tharpe Antiques
support the ongoing efforts of the Historical Society of Talbot County to discover and preserve Talbot County's cultural heritage for the present and future benefit of the community.
Tharpe Antiques is
just one of over 25 antique shops located in Easton, making the town a
grand destination for antique collectors of all sorts. Be sure to plan a visit to
the area on the first weekend in October for the society's annual Heritage
Weekend.
